Columbus Rotarians annually leverage their skills to improve the lives of people in our community, our country and our world.  As part of a global network of 1.2 million Rotarians in 38,000 clubs around the world, we are passionate about our commitment to 
"Service Above Self.”  This year: 
  • 5200 dictionaries delivered to Columbus City School and Vinton County School Third graders
  • 3,000 City high school & middle school students participating in community service
  • Hundreds of youth affected by cleaning up Franklinton Youth Park
  • 250 students served by the 97thAnnual Colerain Elementary Christmas Party
  • 150 school backpacks for foster children
  • 35 new members introduced to Columbus Rotary
  • 30 Ohio State University military veteran students linked with Rotarian mentors
  • 35 students earned 1 college credit through our Enterprise Academy program
  • 27 Collegescholarships awarded to Columbus City School Students
  • 25 KIPP Columbus students exposed to hands on service
  • 15 families helped through the Childhood Cancer Family Connection Holiday Gift Program
  • 11 scholarships awarded to current nontraditional college students
  • 4 + 1 Youth Exchange students sent and hosted
  • water wells drilled in Oromia, Ethiopia providing clean safe drinking water for hundreds
  • orphanage, school, and farm built from the ground up in Nairobi, Kenya
  • Rotary Peace Fellow awarded and studying in England
  • Over $2.5 Million granted to the local community in the last decade
