There has never been a more important time for leaders to foster connection among people of diverse backgrounds. Author and Cross-Cultural Consultant Laura Kriska will address the on-going paradigm shift resulting from increased diversity and increased globalization in America.  At this unprecedented moment in time, it is clear that a new approach to diversity, cultural difference and inclusion is needed.  She will share tools from her upcoming book The Business of WE (HarperCollins, January 2020) which provides a practical roadmap for creating trust with those who are different – those who speak another first language, worship in another faith or see a different reflection when they look in the mirror.

I DARE YOU 2021
When President Chip took office in July 2020 he offered a DARE each week to members.  What's in store for 2021?  What will you do to meet his challenges.  We will  see when he next takes up the gavel!  If you'll recall he offered up a Rotary Bingo to provide suggestions.  Need one sent to you?  Contact office@columbusrotary.org

Congratulations Nancy!
In our current situation we certainly couldn't award the 2020 Rotarian of the Year at a big year end meeting.  What do you do?  You enlist Former winners Tim Maghie, Steve Sundre, and Hugo Trux to present the award in her home office, LIVE, during our Monday meeting.

Have you been receiving mail from Rotary?  The Rotarian Magazine?  No?  
Perhaps you moved.  Even if it was years ago did you update your Rotary address?  Let's do that now shall we.  And don't forget to hit the arrow buttons on your phone app, or simply pull down on your screen.  This is the time of year there are changes in our directory and I'd like yours to be current.

Thanks to a few generous elves, I mean Rotarians, we were able to provide this tree to our friends to enjoy at Windsor Stem Academy in Linden.
