Sneak Peek
A Reminder

As we near the upcoming election we should all remember that Rotary is an apolitical organization.   Though we civically minded members are passionate about issues, positions, and individuals we need to try to remain neutral in our actions, reactions, and questions while participating in Rotary.

Better Together!
October 05, 2020 - VIRTUAL MEETING @ 12:00 PM

The Columbus restaurant industry during the COVID crisis

Steve Stover
A good friend of the Club, Steve Stover is passionate about food. He has taught cooking for 38 years, and has reviewed restaurants for 35 years. He currently teaches cooking at the Franklin Park Conservatory, cooks and judges for charity events, and speaks to community groups all over Central Ohio.

I Dare You
Following a tenant of his Presidential speech, Chip has introduced this pin that we will use to award to members this year for meeting his call to action.  He first asked that you check in on someone not on the Monday Zoom call.  That's something we should do each week.

This week's Dare - Give More to the Annual Campaign than last year
How you are coming along with the I Dare You Bingo?   These all help you along with that game.
Dana Vogelmeier has turned in her BINGO card to earn the pin below.  How are you coming?

Beautiful weather.  Good friends.  Covid golf
We will get back to in person Monday meetings soon, however get these events on your calendar in the READ MORE.

We are offering an Annual tradition with a COVID twist this year.  On October 12 we will offer a hybrid of virtual and in person Vocational Lunches for our members.  We are actively searching for hosts at this time.

2020 opportunities include:
American Red Cross with Cory Paul
Arnold Sports Festival with Lea Coburn
Columbus Bar Association with Rob Erney
Build and Lead Thriving Purpose Driven Organizations with Ann and Gary Ralston
Downtown Delaware Lunch and Tour with Jim Bartha (in Person)

Are you willing to be a sponsor?  As a reminder, this is a race and walk to benefit Columbus Rotary. The event will be held in Green Lawn Cemetery on Saturday October 31st.  Sponsorship for members and businesses associated with Columbus Rotary is $300. Sponsors will have their logo on emails going out to over 100,000 addresses promoting the event and will be shown on the back of shirts that participants can buy. As a sponsor you will receive a shirt and a face mask for the event. This is good advertising opportunity at a very reasonable cost and of course it helps to support Columbus Rotary.
