Clark Kellogg
...receives national notoriety for his work as the lead college basketball studio analyst for CBS Sports. For over two decades he has served as both a game and studio analyst for the network’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships.
Mr. Kellogg has also done television commentating for the Indiana Pacers, Cleveland State University, the Big East Television Network, and ESPN. Since 1997 he has served as the lead studio or game analyst for CBS' coverage of college basketball. He has been with CBS since 1993.
He is a former first-round draft pick of the Pacers (1982, eighth selection overall) and played five seasons with the team. Chronic knee problems forced him to retire after career averages of 18.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game as well as a unanimous selection to the 1983 NBA All-Rookie Team.

The Enterprise Academy has been moving smoothly along at Franklin University for the last four weeks. We have one more class this coming Monday before students will be mentoring at a business site for the following two Mondays. The class started with 29 students and 27 are still enrolled after four weeks.

Several Columbus Rotarians have been excellent guest speakers including Scott Whitlock, Manana Fribley and Malik Moore. Anish Shah was also a guest speaker. Several Rotarians will mentor students during their business visits. They include Mark Shy with Brexton Development, Manana Fribley with Home 2 Suites, John Koetz of WE Davis Insurance Agency and Tracey Najera of the Children's Defense Fund. We are also using Two Caterers who has been very supportive in working with Enterprise Academy students in the past.

Our student presentations will take on Monday, March 25 at Fisher Hall on the Franklin University Campus. I will extend an invitation for Rotarians to attend at a meeting in March.

I am thankful I had the opportunity to grab lunch with John Mariotti a few weeks ago! John’s passion for life is contagious and is something we all should aspire to. The best way to learn is being mentored and mentoring others. It is such a mutually beneficial thing for both mentors and mentees. As iron sharpens iron one man/woman sharpens another. Over a two hour lunch at the Rusty Bucket in Worthington we talked about topics ranging from career building, to politics, to religion, to leadership and family life. It is the little things such as one lunch that can really start something great and create a synergy that goes a long way! Just one of the many good things that can happen at Rotary.
