Insight to a new Rotary Year

District Governor Steve Heiser

DG Steve Heiser became a member of Columbus Rotary in July 1998. At the Club level, he has chaired numerous committees, including Columbus Rotary’s Adopt-a-School, Vocational Services, Trade Fair, and Dictionary Project Committees, while also a member of the International and Public Image Committees. His Club has awarded him their Service Above Self Award for Vocational Service in 2006. He has attended three (3) RI Conventions (2005 in Chicago, 2013 in Lisbon, and 2017 in Atlanta) and has traveled to Nairobi, Kenya with other Columbus Rotarians to visit their Club’s project, Rafiki, an orphanage/village and school for children whose parents have AIDS. He was elected to the Columbus Rotary Board and began his Board service in July 2010 and was elected to the position of Vice President Nominee, putting him in the chairs to be President, in December of 2010, finally assuming the position of Club President in July 2013.

COMING to a PARK near you.
Join us on Friday mornings as we gather at a local park for a bit of in person fellowship.  Bring your lawn chair, coffee, tea, and anything else as we continue to build the blocks of friendship that make Rotary what it truly is.

I Dare You
Following a tenant of his Presidential speech, Chip has introduced this pin that we will use to award to members this year for meeting his call to action.  He first asked that you check in on someone not on the Monday Zoom call.  This week's Dare?  Submit an idea for a community service project, I Dare You.  How you are coming along with the I Dare You Bingo?

Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP is pleased to announce that 10 lawyers have been included in the 2021 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
