Ohio Dept of Public Safety

Director Tom Stickrath

Tom will speak on Ohio Public Safety initiatives; managing civil protests; and what the future of public safety looks like.  He will also be discussing the changing landscape of criminal justice over his decades-long career in the field.  

Two Majic Drops

Eriksen Dickens is a filmmaker from California who recently released a short documentary on Rotary's involvement in providing polio vaccinations to children in India. The film has been selected to show at  three film festivals, and we wanted as many Rotarians to see it as possible!  The film is called Two Magic Drops 
In Memorium

Columbus Rotarian Robert Horace Johns, age 92, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on July 1, 2020.  Bob joined Columbus Rotary 59 years ago on April 3, 1961. 
A memorial tree will be planted in a Franklin County Metro Park in Bob's honor.  Contributions can be made to the Columbus Rotary Foundation.

Lea Coburn joined us on June 11.  Her sponsor is Beth Berkemer.  Lea works for the Arnold Sports Festival and will help to continue our scholarship relationship with this great organization. 

Chris Foley joined us on May 1.  Chris's sponsor id Andy Shockney.  He is an entrepreneur and works with SCORE.  

Corey Paul is the Executive Director of the American Red Cross, Central Ohio.  He joined on the Club June 15th and was sponsored by Mike Schoedinger.
