Tickets for the event are $50 per person and tickets and/or donations can be made through www.rye6690.com
CALLING ALL BOTTLES
In an effort planned by the Derby Day Soiree committee we are asking members to bring a bottle of wine or bourbon to Rotary this week for inclusion in an "wine tree" that will be available at the May 4 event.  $25 minimum value.  You can get tickets in the next story!

NOTE FROM PRESIDENT CALLOWAY
Dear Fellow Columbus Rotarian:

If you read my essay via email last Saturday afternoon March 30th, thank you.

If not, please take a few minutes to read my essay and consider Columbus Rotary's value proposition in meeting your needs, always.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing our friend, Clark Kellogg, the last two weekends on CBS for March Madness!

If you missed his remarks at CRC on March 4th, click the link on our website or just search in YouTube "Columbus Rotary March Madness".

Mayor Ginther drew a large turnout this past Monday.  If you missed it, search YouTube "Columbus Rotary Mayor Ginther".

The introduction by Vice President of Disruption Mike Rankin was fabulous but sadly was not included on the TV recording..

Please sign up for our Derby Day Soiree coming up quickly on Saturday, May 4th.

Please join some of us this Friday, April 5th for "First Friday" lunch at Copious which is one of our many casual extensions of your Columbus Rotary.

See you next Monday for a great update on saving our Columbus Crew.

Be the Inspiration!

Yours in Rotary, President Calloway

MONDAY ASSISTANCE

Each week we rely upon a number of volunteers to help make our meetings flow smoothly.  These volunteer positions are;
Front Porch Greeter - welcoming folks on porch or in front hall and providing directions and assistance
Guest Sign In - provide a names badge and sign in guests at visitors at the round table in the front hall
Check In - Collect lunch fees, dues, checks, etc at the table just inside the room and log the attendance of our members
NEW OPPORTUNITY - Audio Visual Team.  These people might help run the power points during the meeting, set up the computer and projector before the meeting, run the associated wires for microphones, speakers and computer, and/or help adjust the volume during the meeting.  This is especially important in the absence of the Executive Director.

Watch for the Sign Up Genius coming soon to volunteer for these opportunities.
