Want to ring bells for the Salvation
Columbus Blue Jackets Game
Each year we help the Salvation Army of Central Ohio ring bells.  Recently these efforts have focused on surrounding Nationwide Arena when the CBJ is in town.  This year our efforts will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2019 @ 5:30 - 7:30pm
JoAnne and John are looking for a few more helpers, so sign up on Mondays.  Please meet in the area in front of the Tim Horton’s Restaurant on the west side of the Blue Jackets Arena at 5:30pm.  **Wear weather appropriate clothing.

Questions to Nancy Trux
It's not many times in our 107 year history that we can say, "Join us for our 99th effort".  Colerain Elementary School's Christmas Party is our oldest service project.  Assisting the orthopedically impaired students in Columbus led us to starting an organization now known as Easter Seals.  Join us on December 20th at 9:00 AM as we welcome every student of the school, help them meet Santa, and assist some students with their presents.  Sign ups will start on Monday, November 18 at Rotary.

Friends, Family, and others are all welcome.
Walking with the Dead
A Success!
Thank you to the over 20 volunteers and all those who ran/walked in our inaugural event.

Your Annual Campaign
Each year our Rotary Foundation asks the members of the Club to dig into their pockets and support our many projects with their own treasure.  Our goal is $90,000.  As Campaign Chairman Tim Maghie keeps saying,  "When we meet our $90,000 goal, you won't hear from us anymore."

To date just over half of our 250  Rotarians have donated more than $67,800 toward YOUR GOAL.  We have just 53% participation from our members.  Therefore, we've started making phone calls to all those from whom we've yet to hear.  If you've not donated please take your fellow Rotarians call!

Help Chairman Tim Maghie, Foundation President Sandy Knoesel, and President Elect Chip Chapman rest easy by helping to reach our goal TODAY!
Mongolia Anyone?
Plans are shaping up nicely for the Mongolia nGSE (new Group Study Exchange) trip next summer.  We are focusing on applicants in the educational field, but will welcome others who are interested in the activities you see described in the flyer.  This promises to be a very exciting experience!  Marion Gilliland can be contacted with any questions.  Detailed information is in the READ MORE section.
The application deadline is November 15th with interviews on December 8th.
Who did you invite today?
Help us reach our goal of 1 new member a week throughout the year!
Total active membership = 253    New members since July 1 = 14
