Dallas Baldwin
Franklin County Sheriff

Currently serving in his second term as Franklin County Sheriff, Dallas Baldwin is a retired Lieutenant with the Columbus Division of Police. He served 28 years on active duty, along with an additional 10 years as a reserve officer. 


During his first term, Sheriff Baldwin successfully implemented the Sheriff’s Office Therapy Dog program, C.I.D, Police and Clergy together, Diversity and Inclusion office, and the Civilian Advisory Council.


Sheriff Baldwin was born in Dayton, Ohio. He moved to Beavercreek while in the fourth grade and graduated from Beavercreek High School.  Following high school, he attended The Ohio State University.


In 1972, Sheriff Baldwin married his high school sweetheart, Barb, and they plan on celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in May of 2022.
