Making the Business Case for LGBTQ Inclusion Oct 30, 2017
Jaron Terry, MS, APR, Fellow PRSA

This presentation will discuss how Diversity and Inclusion – in the workplace, the boardroom and throughout the community – is more than a trend, it’s a business imperative. With the United States increasingly racially and culturally diverse, and equality for LGBTQ individuals increasingly accepted, organizations that persist in affinity-based hiring practices and board choices risk alienating their customers, tarnishing their reputation and negatively impacting the bottom line. PFLAG is the nation's largest family and ally organization, founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son. Uniting LGBTQ people with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.

Framework 2.0, long-term guiding for stewardship of OSU Physical campus

What is Framework 2.0?

Framework 2.0 is a planning vision and a collaborative update of the 2010 Framework 1.0 plan. This plan is a guide for stewardship of our physical campus, focusing more on the campus’ needs and capacity than on specific proposals. A living, flexible plan designed to allow for modification based on strategy over the next decade and beyond, Framework 2.0 supports the academic mission while maintaining and improving green areas.
