Annual Address to the Club

Steve D. Sandbo has been a member of the Upper Arlington Rotary Club since 2000. His understanding of what being a Rotarian means started at an early age as his father was a charter member of the Upper Arlington Rotary Club in 1972 and club President in 1990. Steve has served on the Upper Arlington Rotary board of Directors twice, serving as Secretary, Vice President and President of the club in 2012. In 2010 Steve received Rotarian of The Year Award. During his involvement with the Upper Arlington Rotary Club he has been Chairman of the Membership Committee, the World Service Committee, the Fundraising Committee and Special Projects Committee.
Steve has served as Co Chair for District 6690 Membership Committee, been active in developing the new Rotary Membership Engagement Touch Point Program and assisted other District 6690 clubs in developing their own World Service projects and Fundraisers.
Steve and his wife Jill have been married 32 years and Jill is the Director of Human Resources for Premier Athletic Club and also a Rotarian. Together they have raised 3 wonderful children and in addition to always having collies have one grandson and expecting 2 more grandchildren this year. Jill and Steve enjoy exploring the Southwest, fly fishing, adventuresome family vacations and traveling in their restored Pontiac Firebird and GTO.
