Steve Barclay
For four years until July 2014, Mr Barclay was Director of the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office in Sydney. Prior to that, he was a public sector reform advocate and internal management consultant in the Government’s Efficiency Unit for nearly a decade.
Mr Barclay has served in a wide variety of posts with policy responsibilities including consumer protection, intellectual property, housing, and environmental protection. He has served as a District Officer in Hong Kong and also as Hong Kong’s economic and commercial representative in Brussels. Mr Barclay has twice been responsible for drafting the Chief Executive’s Policy Address.
Mr Barclay was first appointed to the Hong Kong Government as an Inspector in the Hong Kong Police in 1979. He transferred to the civil service in 1982.

This will allow the staff to clean and reset the Buckeye Room for its next use without disturbing your meeting.
Join us as we host a member guest golf outing at the Safari Golf Club on September 18. This is a Rotary Member and their Guest event. The event will begin at 1:00 PM with a Shotgun Start. Stay and enjoy the cookout and awards afterwards. $60 per person includes 18 holes, cart, range balls and dinner. Additional info below
For those in attendance this past Monday you heard Sgt at Arms Teddy talk about Rotary's Happy Cash concept. (Your chance to stand up, brag about something and pay a fine.) Teddy will begin this program in the near future as a part of his weekly duties. Be ready with your good news.
