Group Study Exchange is one of the most valuable and rewarding Rotary programs, furthering our mission of building peace and understanding in the world.  It is also one of the very best ways to introduce Rotary to non-Rotarians, many of whom will eventually join Rotary.  During their one-month stay, team members will live with local Rotarians, tour their cities, visit their workplaces, experience their culture and cultural events, talk with them about the world and world affairs, and develop life-long friendships and associations.

Columbus Rotarians Nelson French, Rod Stinehart and Jackie Cooper have led GSE teams and would be happy to talk with you about their experiences.

District 6690 will be sending a Group Study Exchange out-bound team to District 3620 (South Korea). Travel to South Korea will be approximately early/mid April 2012 and return early/mid May 2012 - exact dates are being confirmed.

We are in the process of accepting applications for team members. All Applications for team members must be received no later than September 12, 2011.
Team members must be non-Rotarians and not directly related to a Rotarian (no spouses, children, grandchildren). They must be working at the time of departure and be between 25 and 40 years old.  A handbook covering the Group Study Exchange program as well as applications for Team Members are available on the RI web site at  http://www.rotary.org/RIdocuments/en_pdf/161en.pdf.

Applications are being accepted NOW. Please contact GSE contact GSE chair Dave Roasa for more information. Dave's email: roasad1@nationwide.com
