BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS
The following Rotarians were elected at our Dec. 5, 2011 meeting to seats on the CLub Board of Directors. Their three year term begins July 1, 2012. Congratulations and thank you to the nominees.
Dana Charlton is employed by the Ohio Self Determination Association. a nonprofit policy advocacy organization in developmental disabilities, and has been a member of Columbus Rotary for over three years. She has been an active member of the Health and Fitness Committee, International Service Committee, Community Service Committee and the Membership Development Committee. She has also worked on the Arnold Active Aging Festival. She is currently coordinating the scheduling of greeters for each of our Monday Rotary meetings. She has served our District as a member of the World Community Service Committee working on grant applications of District Clubs; she is Chair of the Committee and is responsible for coordinating all Simplified Grants and Matching Grants for our District.
Jack Graf is president of Graf & Sons, Inc., a company that has been serving the construction industry since 1925. Jack joined Columbus Rotary in 1979 and is now a Senior active coming from the Overhead Door Distribution classification. He has been an active member of the Youth Exchange Committee for many years. Jack and his wife Kay have hosted many exchange students for extended periods and have for eight summers hosted our District inbound-outbound- rebound meet-and-greet gathering in August at their home. Jack also hosted the Derby Days fundraising soiree for Columbus Rotary at his Columbus facility. Recently he has been on the dictionary distribution team. Jack is a Paul Harris Fellow.
Ron Kyser is President of R. C. Kyser & Associates and has been a member of Columbus Rotary for over 17 years. He has been active in Columbus Rotary for 16 years as a member of the International Service Committee (currently serving as Chair; served 4 years as Vice-Chair) and for 12 years as a member of the Scholarship Committee (for 6 years he has served as Chair of the Service-Above-Self Scholarships). He has also served as a Pen Pal, as part of the Dictionary Project Team, as a volunteer in various projects assisting the Homeless Families Foundation, in delivering invocations at our Rotary meetings, and as a member of the New Member Committee. Ron is a Paul Harris Fellow.
